LIVESTOCK FARMING and MEAT PRODUCTION.
Cattle Fattening as the core activity consists of two phases.
– Phase I involves fattening calves from an initial weight of around 150 kg up to 320 kg. This lasts 120 days, after which the fattened cattle are transferred to the farms.
The company owns two cattle farms:
– Radobić Farm, currently with a capacity of 1,000 head of cattle.
– Orašac Farm, with a capacity of 2,000 head of cattle.
Fattened cattle with a body weight of 550–600 kg are transported to our own slaughterhouse where slaughtering and primary carcass processing are performed.
The resulting meat is marketed on the domestic market as well as through our own retail outlets.
In addition to the domestic market, the company exports meat to Italy.
We have collaborated with the Italian company Borgo Carni since 2003 and are especially proud of this partnership. We export hindquarters of heifers, known as Milanese cuts.
The company is in the final phase of constructing a biogas plant with a capacity of 1 megawatt per hour, located at the Radobić cattle farm.
