Zlatiborac is a family company with 140 years of tradition. We specialise in the production of high-quality durable and semi-durable dried meat delicacies. Our story begins in 1885 in Mačkat, the Serbian capital of prosciutto, where seven generations of the Stojanović family have prepared dried meat products using the authentic recipes of their ancestors.

 

From selecting the best cuts of meat for production, through careful salting, gentle smoking over beechwood, to meeting all the quality standards that modern consumers rightly expect, we strive for perfection at every step. Behind us lie decades of investment, education and development, with one goal in mind: the best product quality.

 

Today, Zlatiborac has almost 700 employees, four regional business centres and modern production facilities covering an area of over 40,000 m² in the heart of Zlatibor – Mačkat, where the latest technology is used in accordance with the highest standards of food safety and quality. Our product portfolio includes a wide range of durable and semi-durable dried meat delicacies, and our unwavering focus on quality has been confirmed by numerous national and international awards.

 

To date, we have won more than 200 medals for quality at competitions organised by the prestigious German Agricultural Society (DLG), while consumers in Serbia regularly award us the ‘My Choice’ prize for the most popular brands.
